昨年末のブラックフライデー。
SampleTank4 Maxがお安くなってたのでポチる。
IK MULTIMEDIA製品を初めて買ったので、忘れないように書いておく。
皆さん書いておられますが、ダウンロード版はサイズが大きい。
サイトを見ても250GB以上のライブラリとか書いてあるし。
なので、昨今、システムドライブをSSDにされている方は、そのままではインストール出来ない事も多いかと。
かく言う私も入らなかった。
なので、インストール先を変更する必要がある。
マニュアルにもそのような事は書いてあって、IK Product Managerで
More Options -> Install toでインストール先を変更できる。
ただ、Application、Soundともに、
- インストーラをダウンロード
- インストール
の2段階で処理されてて、これは後者の事を書いている。
インストーラのダウンロード先に関しては、
TopBar -> Preferences -> Downloads Folderの設定を変更する必要がある。
これで嵌まる。（つっか私は嵌まった）
ようするに・・・
「本来のサイズより概ね2倍くらいのHDDの空きが必要」
なので、必ず２つのフォルダ設定をすることが重要。
次。
私のPC環境はWifiだったので、ダウンロードは3MB/s程度で激遅。
当然時間が掛かるんですが、途中でWindowsUpdateが掛かって、ダウンロードが中断したんですよね。
なので、とりあえず面倒なサービスは止めておいた方がよいです。
途中でインストーラが止まった時、2つ注意する事があります。
その１：
- More Options -> Install toの設定が元に戻る
なので、前の設定が残ってるでしょ？って思ってInstallを押すと、インストール先を覚えててくれるワケではなく、defaultのフォルダにインストールされます。
「必ず More Options -> Install to でインストール」
するように。
その２：
- インストールが中途半端に終わる
インストールは終了しましたが、インストールが細切れになったせいか、実際にソフトを使用してみると、Soundが足りません。
どうやら、連携してインストールしてくれたのが、一度中断すると、個別にダウンロードする必要があるっぽいです。
(n of m files remaining)と記載があったら、ダウンロードが終わってないので、インストールを再開する必要があります。
MAXなのでSEなどのSoundは一緒に入ってるもんだと思ってましたが、下位グレードとの差分が入っているようです。
結論的にSoundは110Filesありました。
